HomeKit HomePod, Siri Shortcuts & CARROT⁵ Weather

Carrot just updated their app with Siri Shortcuts implemented within the app. I created a couple of shortcuts, tried it on the iPhone, works great. Then tried the shortcuts on the HomePod and it also works great!

If the major apps implement shortcuts within their apps, this will have a major effect on the HomePod usage.

It works super inconsistent for me, tried creating shortcuts for THINGS app on my iPhone, very simple to add a new to do, and it works perfectly on the phone, HomePod just creates new reminders in the Apple reminder app, ignoring the shortcut completely.

I created a shortcut to have my phone read an article for me however if I’m in range of my HomePods they pick it up and then say they can’t do it.
