HomePod HomePod stuttering since 16.2

Hi,

since updating to 16.2 on my HomePods and doing the architecture update on HomeKit my HomePods stutter in the beginning of almost every song we play at home. This is so annoying. Do you have similar problems and an idea how to fix this?

Having similar stutter problems, but happens anytime during the song for me. Things have definitely gotten worse since the architecture update. Unaware of any fixes.

I tried to file this using the Feedback Assistant around Dec 20 & a few days later they changed the “Recent Similar Reports” to say “Under 10”.

When I checked again today it updated with a resolution saying “Investigation complete - Unable to diagnose with current information” which doesn’t bode well…

Since Apple pulled the HomeKit update, you might/will have to wait for an update.

If lossless is enabled, I would maybe try turning that off temporarily just to see if it helps

Been having this issue since the update to 16.2. Turned off “Dolby atmos” and had a marked reduction with the stuttering the first evening. A few more days, and the HomePod is back to normal.

Only had this issue with the OG homepod, the smaller HomePods have been fine.

No stuttering. I have been getting the sorry there was a problem with Apple Music problem. I’ve had to re-boot the offending homepods and then all has been ok. This happens on both my OG homepods and minis.
