HomePod HomePod with iOS beta profile?

I was putting the public beta on my iPad and it asked if I wanted to put it on my HomePod instead. Does anyone know what would happen if you did? Is there a way for me to test and know I won’t screw up my HomePod for good?

If I remember correctly HomePod was shipped with a beta build of 11.2.5 so I'd say HomePod knows betas
