HomePod HomePod with M1 works any better? / And why dose it work great on iOS/iPadOS?

Hello, I was wondering if the HomePod (None mini version) works as speakers on macOS without the 3 second + delay? If no, dose the mini work better?

I’ve used the Normal HomePods in the past but the sould delay is annoying… on macOS however on iPadOS using the HomePods as speakers for the OS seems to work fine with no delays from sound when watching twitch/YouTube videos I’ve not had a single issue with them and delay from when the first starts to pusing and starting them no delays at all. Why is this? Why in my case that is the HomePods seem to work great on iPadOS but not macOS (that is if the M1 dose not fix the issue..)
