pologies if this has been asked before - I’ve searched on internet and cannot find an answer:

I have a HomePod and I’ve brought it away with me on holiday. However there is no WiFi here. I thought by switching HomePod in the home app to “allow speaker” to “anyone” my phone would find the HomePod via airplay. But it doesn’t show up as an airplay device in music or anything else on the phone. Does HomePod not work as an airplay speaker if there is no WiFi? Is it because I’ve unplugged the HomePod and brought it to a different location? Will I just have to use iPhone speakers for the week?! Am I doing doing something silly?

Thanks in advance.

Shawn
