I unplugged my M1 mini and went on vacation. I returned home and noticed that when I went to the sound menu, my HomePods weren't listed. I have google fiber and so I looked online and it said I had a strong signal; indeed, my mini, iPhone and iPad were all connected to the network. But the HomePod showed up on the list of devices not connected to the network. I looked on the Home app and nothing I did fixed the problem. What can I do to get my HomePods working again? For diagnostic purposes, whatever is wrong, it is affecting my smart tv as well--it says it has a strong signal but is not connected to the network.

Thank you in advance for whatever help you can give me!!!!

For each device, look at the name of the network the device is connected to. For example, the TV might have a strong signal because it's connected to a neighbor's network.

You might need to delete any stored network(s) in a device, and then have it scan and reconnect to the desired network. You might also need to turn off an "automatically join a network" feature.

Dear Chown33, thank you so much for your response. I hate to ask another dumb questions, but how would I delete the stored network for my HomePod? I fixed my tv by doing a factory reset. I just don't know how to do this for a HomePod (a pair of original models).

I don't know, since I don't use HomePods. I just gave a possible solution from a general viewpoint.

Searching for terms like homepod forget network or homepod delete network doesn't yield much info. A few results say things like "full reset".

Maybe someone else has more info.
