I just bought a HomePod for my bedroom and I'm really amazed at how limited they made the product for users like myself who do not pay for any Apple music service.

Sure it does play music from my iPhone using AirPlay but without paying for Match it won't let Siri look at the library on it. You can tell her to pause and repeat songs but that is it.

With my MBP, Siri can't even stop playing music. If I tell Siri to stop playing music, the music just fades a bit and then continues again. Is that a bug? I was completely baffled. I can't imagine why you cannot turn off music being played on the Mac but you can with music played on the iPhone?
