So I was updating my HomePods yesterday.

"This update includes performance and stabilitv improvements."

Why am I not surprised anymore?

Wow, very un-Apple like to make a spelling error. The “V” and “Y” aren’t even on the same row of the keyboard. At first glance I thought the bottom tail of the “Y” was cut off. May be the case here.

It’s spelled correctly on my end but the word “stability” is on the second line. I didn’t hit update yet though.

Doesn’t look like a spelling mistake, looks like a placement of the button ‘more’ and it’s overlapping the descender of the y. Still poor, but unsurprising, from crApple.

probably a font-resize issue, adjusted the setting to make the font a big bigger, but it didn't adjust spacing properly.

If it helps validate you at all... I've had a HomePod mini for several years now. Used to think it was great. Since 18.0 dropped though, it's become absolute trash. Last night I finally unplugged it and tossed it in the tech graveyard. Totally useless unless you want music to play randomly and unprompted + want Siri to respond there even if you're on the opposite end of the house where you can't hear.

And the 18.4.1 update improved things exactly 0%, by the way. Stabilitv improvements I'll believe. Stability improvements I don't buy for a second.

Thank you, DJLC. I had 2 HomePods which had gone rogue over the last few months. I know, I am a bit of an extreme case. I have 14 HomePods and more than 120 devices running. My conclusion: the software and hardware reliability of Homekit leaves a lot to be desired unfortunately.
