Homesharing issues

Hello,

I am having trouble getting my library to show up in homesharing. I have updated itunes and my ipad and turned on homesharing on both devices, but the library fails to show up in itunes. My library is contained on an external drive. I have repeatedly logged in and out of itunes and tried turning homesharing off and on to get it to appear, but nothing seems to work. Anyone else having this problem?

I have an imac (2 yrs old) and a 1st gen ipad.

Make sure the wireless adapter on your iMac is turned on.

Also, double-check that you are using the same Apple ID on both iPad and iMac for homesharing.

These worked for me, but I have a PC (HP Mini).
