Hi - I've got work which uses an old program only accessable on my iBook G3. I now have a new iMac Core Duo (20") and would like to hook the iBook to the iMac to give me a larger screen with which to work. Can I do this, and how? Does the iBook have a "monitor out" slot and the iMac a "monitor in" slot? Boy, am I a newbie or what!!!

Thanks for any info

As far as I know the iMac cannot be used as an external monitor. There is no "in" function there.

there should be a monitor out plug in the iBook i'm pretty sure about that, but as for using the iMac as a screen, i don't think that you can do that.

I may be wrong though.

The iMac is not designed to be a monitor, its a computer.

You'll have to buy a monitor or move the app from your iBook.
