Bought the cables at Apple Store yesterday to hook up my Mac to my HDTV -to enable me to watch the movies and YouTube videos off of my computer. But, after hook up, the only thing I get on the TV screen is my computer screen saver? What have I done wrong? Thanks..

What cable are you using, how are you connecting to your TV?

Seems like your HDTV is set as a second display. Can you see your mouse on the screen or move stuff from the edge of your main display to the HDTV?

I've connected mine using DVI & have no problems. I'm able to drag the window into the HDTV & you should be able to as well unless you are using the "mirrored" effect.
