So, I gotmy new 23" ACD today. I want to use it as my display for my MBP. That is, I want to be able to close my MBP and have the whole setup function as a desktop.

How do I go about making the MBP stay awake when closed, and how do I make it think that there's only one screen (the ACD)?

Thanks.

When you close the lid, it should go to sleep. If you have a USB keyboard, you should be able to press a key on it and it'll come back from sleep without you opening the laptop again.

Well I'll be dipped. It wasn't working right at first. Apparently I have to put it to sleep, close the lid, and then hit a key on the keyboard. Too weird. Otherwise, it would wake up and then immediately go back to sleep.

Thanks for the help!!
