i want to hook up my nintendo wii to my mac book which has the router Time Capsule - i also have airport extreme and am wireless. which router should i use to play nintendo wii with someone in a different household

One thing at a time, your request doesn't make any sense. Are you simply trying to get your Wii online? Or are you trying to connect your Wii to your MacBook? Time Machine and your Time Capsule have nothing to do with your Wii.

You say Time Machine in the title, but Time Capsule in the post. I'm assuming you mean Time Capsule. They should both work the same. The Time Capsule has an Airport Extreme Base Station inside it.
