I really need some help hooking up my old Lexmark optra w810 laserprinter.
Since the printer only has a parallel and an ethernet connection, I'm only able to connect my printer through the ethernet connection.

This is where I need help. I used to connect the printer with appletalk:mad:, but since they decided to discontinue this It seems I'm not able to connect the printer anymore.

While connecting (with appletalk, turned of) I should be able to get the thing work through TCP/IP but still I can't get it to work.

Adding it as an LPD printer with the IP address I chose on the printer I get the network host busy error.

Can somebody please help me fix this and get me printing again?

thanks!!
