Maybe there is hope after all for a 2.0 version of Keynote.
I was checking out the Metadata Indexing Engine page in the Tiger Preview section of the Apple site, and it lists Word, Excel, and Keynote in the supported file types.
It is interesting to note that PowerPoint was NOT listed and the site actually spelled out word and excel files only. So maybe there is commitment after all from Apple to support Keynote.
One can only hope since Apple originally released an amazing product which instantly spawned a cottage industry around it. Then, for reasons only Apple can understand, starved the product of much needed updates.
