Those who pre ordered the 6plus launch in the fall remember the long days of being Shanghai'd and being stuck in Alaska for days :D

You guys were tracking phones on cargo planes like snipers in the field - good times they were

Hope the tracking goes much better with this first batch - but also look forward to creating new memes and gifs for that thread!
 
I guess it depends on where the shipments will be originating. If they are all leaving from China we may see some of this.

I thought you meant Shanghai'd = Scalpers… LOL! There will be plenty of people in line being Shanghai'd on the 24th.
 
The shipment my iPhone 6 Plus was in got stuck in China for days after shipping because it was being held by customs. Hopefully this doesn't happen with the Watches.
 
I wonder if Apple is having all the watches sent over already to a warehouse/distribution centre in North America already to avoid any custom or ups/fedex (or whatever they use) issues next week.
