Every iPhone has had a better camera than the last iPhone. That's one of the features you can always count on the be improved. How much it will be improved though is the actual debate.Tired of paying over $1K for a phone that can’t take a pictures up close…the iPhone 12 Pro Max has sucked for the camera. By just saying it sucks without providing a case Carries no weight, I’ve found the 12 pro max camera to be excellent. Also if your comparing it to actual DSLR cameras of course it won’t be as good as themIt’s sucks.
I have one…I know better …up close it sucks big time.By just saying it sucks without providing a case Carries no weight, I’ve found the 12 pro max camera to be excellent. Also if your comparing it to actual DSLR cameras of course it won’t be as good as them
Explain…so $1500 for iPhone and $7.99 piece of software make it a miracle macro shooter?I would not use the stock app. Camera+ 2 is a good app for macro shots. I have taken some really nice shots of my tarantulas with Camera+ 2. It’s not as good as my DSLR but it’s close will a little editing.
Maybe you should apply at Apple so you can make it not suck then since you have all the answers.I have one…I know better …up close it sucks big time.
You're paying $1500 for a phone/computer/media device/email device/texting device/game console/web browser/app machine that just happens to have a camera. You're not paying $1500 for a camera that happens to do all that other stuff. If that's all you buy a phone for perhaps you should try an actual camera instead.Explain…so $1500 for iPhone and $7.99 piece of software make it a miracle macro shooter?
Nope, best point and shoot camera on the market, only thing missing is decent optical zoom. which should be getting a upgrade once the iPhone 14 arrives. It’s sucks.
Apple has overtaken the pixel for best all around camera.Whatever the Pixel phone does, if Apple could copy that.
No it isn’t …link with tests saying it is?Nope, best point and shoot camera on the market, only thing missing is decent optical zoom. which should be getting a upgrade once the iPhone 14 arrives.
Maybe a Samsung galaxy phone is a better choice for you, heard the camera lag, shutter lag and blurry photos are great on them phones. 🤔😂

Buy a different phone next time. Maybe a Xiaomi. Get the phone that fits your needs rather than calling "it sucks" because "it's expensive and doesn't do what I want".Tired of paying over $1K for a phone that can’t take a pictures up close…the iPhone 12 Pro Max has sucked for the camera. Gotta love a guy who starts a thread that basically consists of him saying "it sucks it sucks it sucks" over and over again, then demands links to evidence when someone contradicts him.No it isn’t …link with tests saying it is?

It does not appear that OP is here for suggestions or solutions - or any evidence or advice that contradicts their bias. Rather, they seem to want validation and everyone to agree with them.Gotta love a guy who starts a thread that basically consists of him saying "it sucks it sucks it sucks" over and over again, then demands links to evidence when someone contradicts him.
If you are looking for a great macro camera, Nikon and Canon sell great cameras with great macro lens available for them. A phone is not a professional camera. But Apple sure does well for what it does.Explain…so $1500 for iPhone and $7.99 piece of software make it a miracle macro shooter?
