With Apple now admitting the rapid degradation of their batteries, hopefully they will bring out a battery case for the plus models (6.6S,7&8). Whilst I find their current battery case truly ugly, I like the silicone covering, additional features and function. Currently I use a cheap Chinese battery case for my 6S Plus, but would like an Apple cover.

Except, of course, they didn't admit anything of the sort.

In an around about way they did “Last year we released a feature for iPhone 6, iPhone 6s ” - at that time the 6S was at Max 1 year old ( and many would have been less than 1 year old) and the 6 max 2 years old. I would call that rapid degradation, when the device can not function as designed in less than a year. If you think less than one year is not rapid for battery degradation we have a different definition of rapid.

Except, of course, they didn't admit anything of the sort.
People are definitely twisting what happens with batteries. Apple said what they said.. and I agree with you. Its not exactly what is being pushed around online.

Now.. battery cases.. Gosh they should have released cases already for plus models as well as X. There's just no reason not to. People will buy them! I use an 8+ daily and would love even more juice..also X for testing purposes but I'd still buy one of there was one available.
