iPad Hoping for MFi controller

I'm so excited about GTA San Andreas coming out on ios next month. I'm hoping a company releases a stand alone controller so I can play it on my ipad and one day AirPlay on a tv.

I wouldn't get my hopes up. MFi is quite expensive. For comparison I would look at the exorbitant prices of AirPlay speakers...

Understood but to be fair, the two that are out now are also custom fancy designs that expand and fit the iPhone as well as having backup batteries built in. If they'd make one that looked like a generic playstation controller that took AAA batteries it could be at least $30-$40 while still charging a premium price.

What about a simple game controller to be used with ipad? All it needs to be is bluetooth and a reasonable size.
