Anyone else worried that when they load IOS 5 it will slow their iPhone 4 (not 4S obviously) like the iPhone 3 got wrecked when (I think it was) IOS 4 came out?

Well the 3G was never a speed demon to begin with, and to be fair iOS 4 came out 2 years after the 3G, the 4 is only one year old.

The iPhone 3G with iOS 4 and iPhone 4 with iOS 5 scenarios are very different. One was a underpowered device and the other is a powerful device.

I've been using iOS 5 since the summer and there's no noticeable difference in performance from iOS 4. Nothing to worry about.

I downloaded the ipsw file for my iPhone 4 (in my case, the CDMA version). Installed successfully but for some reason almost all of my apps won't sync back to my phone.

Any ideas?

BTW: For the apps listed in my iTunes library it says when I right click and get info that the Original file could not be found.

Never seen this before. Any help is appreciated! :)
