After Jailbreaking my iPhone 3G on 4.2.1 with redsn0w 0.9.6b4 several GUI items have a horizontal line going through them 1 pixel in thickness. It seems to generally be buttons and text boxes. Each pixel in the line also changes from black to white if something on the screen is moving which doesnt show up on the screen shots ive linked to below, although it does show a clear white line where the break in pixels is.

Has anybody run into this problem or have any tips on how to fix this please?

cheers :)

Been There

Hello,

I too had the same issue. I tried restore, however it failed to work. Please do the following:

Reset All settings in your iPhone 3g

This should solve the problem. I think you must have used Winterboard or Springtomize or one of those Jailbreak apps which severely mess with the OS.

If you are finicky about wallpaper, lockscreen, etc, Try using zToggle to enable these settings after jailbreak.

Hope that helps.

cheers.
