Dear All

I need your help. I recently bought a Macbok Pro Mid 2012. I've been using it for 2,5 months moderately. Mostly I use programmes like Logic and Ableton for music production. Of course I use it for watching movies and browsing internet.

Processor 2.6 GHz Intel Core i7
Memory 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
Graphics NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M 1024 MB, Intel HD Graphics 4000 384 MB

About 2 weeks ago I noticed some horizontal lines that appear when I browse Facebook. These lines appear when I scroll up adn down. It does not happen consistently it comes and goes. You can see examples below. They may appear when I just turn my computer on or after using it for a few hours.

Please let me know if anyone knows anything about it. Maybe someone had this issue already and knows what may cause this deffect. I am worried so much, because of known issues with older models of Macbooks (2006, 2007, 2008), where poor soldering of GPU to logic board caused similar effects (discoloured lines, pixels, distorted images).

I will surely bring my laptop to my local mac dealer. But now I would lie to bring it to discussion. I will definitely keep you updated about what is happening.

Horizontal Lines Facebook Macbook Pro

I'm getting exactly the same thing on my Macbook pro. It only occurs on Facebook.

If it was the GPU it wouldn't show up in a screenshot. Try Facebook in another browser
