Just updated my mac to the latest OS. How can I get rid of the lines in the finder. I like to arrange by date modified so all my latest files are in the upper left, but i hate dealing with files I cannot see to the right.

Here's how i prefer it:




Here's how it is with the update when modified by date:




Please help, this is so time consuming for me to check these files to see if I have a file from today or yesterday in a long list.

Just open Finder and right click in folder area you want to arrange, click on Show View Options. When window opens, click on Sort By: and then however you want the date to show. Photo attachment supplied. Should give you result you want.
