I have gotten my iphone set up with Folder Enhancer so that I only have 1 homescreen. I then have a folder in the dock that opens up to all my apps. I have also hid the spotlight using springtomize. Before I added an iWidget to the homescreen, I could swipe left and right and the home screen would stay stationary, with no bounce, like I want. Then I added an iWidget and when I swipe to the right, it slides and then bounces back. Only the iWidget slides, since it's the only thing on the homescreen, the wallpaper remains stationary. If I slide to the left, where spotlight usually is, everything remains stationary, no bounce. Does anyone know what I can do to remove the bounce and have an iWidget at the same time? Thanks for the help!

Nobody has any experience/advice for this?

I'm the opposite of you. I want that bounce back effect on both the left and right. Unfortunately, when you use springtomize to disable spotlight, it also kills the bounce back effect on the left. I emailed the dev a couple weeks asking if he ever planned on adding this in the future but he never responded. I always have the bounce effect on the right though. I also use FolderEnhancer to keep my springboard to 1 page. I place all of my apps inside 1 folder except for about 5 or 6 frequently used apps which I place in my dock and on my springboard.

Are you positive the right side didn't always bounce? Because it has always done that for me even though I pretty much have the same setup as you. The only difference is I don't use iWidgets.

Yes, I am positive. I guess, now that I think about it, it doesn't have anything to do with the iWidget, specifically. If I remove the iWidget so that there are no icons on the homescreen, besides those on the dock, there is no bounce effect. If I put an icon on the homescreen, or an iWidget and swipe, it creates the bounce effect. Just seems pointless to have the bounce since there is nothing to swipe to over on page 2.

Interesting. So there must be an icon for it to happen? I want the bounce effect because its the stock animation. But since I would much rather have springtomize disable spotlight, and as a result killing the bounce motion on the left, if there were a way to disable that effect on the right to "balance" it out, I'd open to doing that. So if you figure out a way to disable the bounce please post here so I know. Thanks!

Yeah I really wish I could figure this out. If I had the bounce on the left and right to balance things out, that would be OK too. I would prefer to have no bounce though and just have a static homescreen. Surely there is a way to disable this stock animation????

The only thing that pops up to me that may solve the problem is to convert the iwidget to a springboard widget in winterboard.

Any chance you could explain how I would go about converting an iWidget to a springboard widget?

Do you know much about HTML? I can do "enough" to get by but I am not really the person to talk to about this. I know in the iwidget thread they have assisted others when they wanted to convert a springboard widget to an iwidget

You basically need to do the same thing in reverse. You might want to try asking them and posting up the widget there.
