Just got my iPhone 13 and ordered the new Wallet and MagSafe Battery for store pickup. Ordered Friday night for pickup Saturday. Apple website made me choose a date and time slot. I picked 11:15-11:30. Went to leave about 10am since im an hour+ away and my order still showed processing but left anyway to make the time slot. So I get to the store at 11:20 and order still shows processing and not ready for pickup so I wait until 11:30 (end of the time slot) and still nothing so I head up to the door of the store where the shopping and pickup line is and inform the person out front that I had a 11:15-11:30 time slot and that it has just passed without my order being ready. His immediate response is "well you can't pick it up if it's not ready can you?" I was like I understand that but I had a time slot I live an hour away and to be here during said slot I had to leave before it showed ready and it still doesn't. For a normal order with no time window id wait for it to be ready but if I had waited for that and say it showed ready 30 mins prior to the slot I wouldn't have been able to leave and make the window. After explain that he just repeats "well you can't pick it up if its not ready can you" at that point I was disgusted in his attitude and said whatever ill cancel my order and walked away. Went out to the parking lot and called the store to speak to a manager. He informed me that time slots should have been disabled for that day (had my email with the date and slot it made me select) so error on their part not mine. I told him what happened at the door and he said that should have never happened (no duh) and that my order was still processing on the back end for some reason and he couldn't expedite it. But unlike the employee at the door he had a solution and recommend I just cancel the items and checked to make sure they where still in stock. They where in stock so he told me come back and he brought them up and let me purchase them in store.
