This is my first Mac Pro and am loving the power. However, I have replaced this unit once because I thought the Bluetooth card was bad. I am now using the replacement and it has the same horrible reception.

I am using the newer Apple Key/Mouse. Reception/Movement is very choppy after moving 3 ft from the tower. Any advise or insight is greatly appreciated.

It is the exactly same problem that I have had and I know 2 other MPs that suffer from the same issue. Machines are 06-07.
Card antenne swapping have been done in 2 machines, with no help.

So, it is an old issue, about 1 1/2 years.

And apple still hasn´t fixed it.Nice.

So,you either bite it or start a battle with apple to get the card replaced, wich might take an eternity.

If this is the same issue that has plagued Mac Pro owners down through history since the dawn of time, then it is an easy, although rather fiddly, issue to fix.

Salvation here!

Worked for me. :) Why Apple won't connect the antennae up so that they work is beyond me, but at least it is fixable.
