I am having a really bad phantom click problem with my first generation Magic Trackpad.

This has lasted through multiple computers and multiple OS versions. It happens about twice a year and generally lasts for 3-5 days at a time. During the times when it's an issue it manifests as either minor problems for about an hour, or extremely bad problems for 3-5 minutes. During the latter periods I have to shut the trackpad off.

I've done all the usual things: power cycles, reset PRAM/SMC, pulled the batteries out, unpaired/repaired, etc.

I have attached a screen recording of the click issue here. This is a ~12 second loop, but it is an excerpt of a ~5 minute video. In addition to these rapid clicks, there are also long passages where the click is held down.

Any ideas?
