Recently, I've had a very odd problem. I have a few Video_TS folders that I normally play in the Apple DVD Player application. However, the playback in DVD Player has become questionable. Blue and white dots appear scattered throughout the screen while playing a Video_TS. I tried putting an actual DVD into the machine, and these blue and white dots still appear in the player. At first, I figured the DVD Player (hardware) itself needed to be cleaned. However, this doesn't make any sense since the Video_TS movies on my computer played normally before and have suddenly taken a turn for the worse.

I used VLC, another video application, to test these files, and they play perfectly. Any ideas on what's causing the DVD Player software to behave like this? I'd appreciate any feedback...
