This has been killing me forever. I have a iMac 27 late 2012 (10.9.4) and a Mac Mini server Mid 2011 (10.7.5) both are connected using a wired connection to my router. For some reason the iMac when hitting web sites just hangs off and on connecting to sites with the browser reporting in it's status bar...."waiting for blah.blah.com".

Here are the clues:

1. The Mac mini at the exact same time just flies (I have a very fast ISP) accessing the same site.
2. I can switch to Wifi and the problem doesn't go away.
3. I can switch browsers from Safari -> Chrome ... no difference still slow.
4. I am pretty sure a reboot clears the problem up for a time it seems to become worst the longer the machine has been running.

Can anyone give me some guidance or debugging ideas?

Thanks.
