Good Morning -
I am running 10.9.3 with two network interfaces. Both are connected via ethernet and one is used for a local address (eth1), the other is for internet (eth0).
I am running a piece of software that is licensed to my network cards host id (eth0). However, when I restart the machine occasionally the software licenses sees eth1's host ID first, causing my license to become invalid.
I have attempted to change the server order from inside of Network Settings, which can sometimes fix the issue for a short period of time, but does not seem to be the final solution.
Is there a way that I can always force this network service order to be more reliable?
I welcome any questions to help get this problem resolved - thanks for the help!
