Hi,
I'm looking to host my own socks 5 server off of my home internet connection for use at an offsite location with internet filtering. I'm familiar with all the basics as far as dynamic dns and setting up nat on my router goes, but I've never gone as far as to run a proxy server. I've done lots of googleing, and I must be aweful at crafting a meaningful search query because all I get is "free proxy!" sites... Does anyone have any experience with this or know of any good tools to start with?

Thanks,
premise

Edit:

Host computer will be either mac os x (10.6) or ubuntu
Client computer (offsite) will be Windows Vista
