Anyone seen Hot Fuzz (from the guys who made Shaun of the Dead)?

Saw it this past weekend, thought it was great.

I saw it earlier this year with my brother. Very funny, if a touch too long towards the end.

Favorite line:

"You wanna be a big cop in a small town? (Vulgar slang for procreate) off to the model village!"

:D

:O

Is it out on DVD?

edit: ah... just worldwide cinema release or something. I wondered why everyone was talking about Hot Fuzz again.

Saw this a while back, and loved it. I have been a huge fan of Simon Pegg and Nick Frost since Spaced. Surprisingly my mother has also seen it and thought it was hilarious. Not sure if that is a recommendation or not :p

I went with a few mates and ended up being the only person who enjoyed it! They're fans of Training Day, Bad Boys and were probably expecting something along them lines. Pegg's little nuances are awesome, and The Bill references were just brilliant :D

Incidentally when is the DVD out here?

Should be going to see it this weekend (or maybe Grindhouse again, not sure yet). I can't wait, Shawn of the Dead was great and this looks just as good.

I liked Shaun of the Dead, and love making fun of bad cop flicks (and good ones) so I'm sure I'll see this when it comes out on DVD.

Great film. Very funny with lots of nods to other films and even Spaced. But then I've been a fan since Spaced. Recently rewatched the two series on Youtube and was laughing my head off. Saw Hot Fuzz twice and enjoyed it both times.
"By The Power of Grayskull":D

Late to join the party as usual. It was just released here where I lived. Fantastic movie. Couldn't wait to get the UK version of the DVD. Amazon here I come.
