Hello everyone!

I have been doing many long video conferences with my MacBook Pro (13"; 2016; 2,9 GHz i5; 8 GB RAM) lately. I usually have 2 25" UHD displays connected and lots of PDFs and office programs open. So my pro does get some work and gets a little hot.
I never noticed it before but after some time (2h+) it doesn't sit on the desk without wobbling anymore. After a long day sometimes even the lid doesn't close completely anymore as it would normally do. The next day when the MacBook is cooled down everything is pretty much back to normal again...
After reading about overheating and swelling batteries I am a little worried...

So, is that normal behavior because the unibody expands slightly due to heat or should I be truly worried?

Thanks!

Your battery swollen after heating
Ouch…
that doesn’t sound good…
I hoped for better news I had still hoped it might just be an expansion due heat…or something else that is „normal“ and as dangerous…

I guess there isn’t much I can do besides take it to apple for a costly repair or let them recycle it? It’s the 13“ touchbar version so it’s not included in any replacement program…

Do you guys think it’s still safe to use it for another couple of weeks or better not turn it on anymore?
