Hi guys.
I got my first mac like 2 weeks ago. macbook 2ghz white.
its running hot from the begining, most of the heat is on the left side.
is his normal, i think that its too hot. how could i know?

Thanks everyone

Depending on your last computer,a Macbook will seem hot in comparison because of the chip.I would personally be more worried if it wasn't hot at all.

The left side, under the 2 and W key area, is the location of the processor so it's totally normal for it to heat up over there.

The macbooks generally operate between 50 - 80c (full load)

They certainly are a hot laptop - but that's normal. However I must admit I do wish there was more ventilation so they were a little cooler.
