Hello, I was wondering could I get hot spot on my phone 4s? Or we just are able to connect to wifi only? A family member has the Samsung s4 and he has hot spot so I was able to connect with his hot spot instead of wifi.

Yah you can just call your carrier and ask if they have it. It may cost money to activate it.

I can on my Verizon iPhone 5, and my boyfriend can on his 4S unlocked on T-Mobile. AT&T hides the option. Not sure about Sprint.
On the Verizon shared data plans, hot spot is included. Chances are, your friend on android may have an app and is rooted that may let him hotspot. So find out what kinda data plan you are on first, then we can help you more.
