I have a newbie question...just bought iPhones for both me and my wife. We each want to keep track of the other's calendar, but keep them separate, ie, don't merge calendars. Hers is manually entered, mine I sync to my work computer (Windows, Outlook). We both have our own gmail accounts as well, if that helps with this situation.
What we each need is as follows:
Her - update her own calendar manually. Have a separate calendar for me, which she can sync to my Outlook; she does NOT want my alarms/notification going off on her phone, though - it's just for reference when making appointments, etc. She only want her own calendar to generate appointment reminders.
Me - Sync my iPhone to my Outlook calendar. Keep a separate calendar on her schedule, so I need to sync to it somehow but not sure how best to do that. I only want my own calendar to generate alarms/notifications, not hers. Her calendar is just for reference for me.
Can anyone point me in the right direction? Is there any reference material for this situation?
