Hi,
I was not sure if this is in the right forum, if this is not in the right forum, please move to appropriate forum.

I was trying to implement a computer system in a small to medium sized hotel to manage their rooms, expenditure, inventories, etc. The software that are going to be used is ASI Frontdesk or similar.

Situation:
Small-Medium sized hotel.
Dial-up internet connection
2 client pc/mac computer on front desk
1 server (?)

Questions:
What the ideal configuration to set up the system is?
What I meant is should I use mac or PC?
How should I connect the clients to the server?
Is it better to run the software and the database on the server or run the software on the client and connect to the server database?
Are there any mac software similar to ASI Frontdesk?

Thank you in advance.
