Hotmail does not "remember me" on any browser

This is a strange one, as I use two macs - one at work, one at home.
They use the same versions of OSX exactly, the same browsers. The difference is that the one at work is the aluminium Mac, and the one at home is the White Intel Core Duo.

Here's the problem:
At home, if I log into Hotmail on ANY web browser, and select "remember me", it doesn't. But at work it's totally fine.
The the browser settings, as far as I know, are the same. I'm using the latest versions of Firefox/Safari 3 and 4/Opera.

The only thing I think of, is that my ISP is causing problems - but I've used two different ISPs at home that both give me this problem.

Can anyone suggest anything that could be causing this? Answers specific to Firefox would be more helpful.

hotmail never remembers my info either. thankfully i only need that account for my xbox live, i couldnt imagine it being my main email. do yourself a favor and switch to gmail.
