It is not working at all. I cannot view my mail or anything.

going back to safari 3

Same thing here. I use Firefox to access my Hotmail. However, there is a temporary fix for that. All you have to do is change the user agent in Safari 4 to Firefox for windows or Mac. I think Chrome faced the same problem with Hotmail when they released it while back.

You know, you could use Mail.app for your hotmail now if you wanted to and it's more convenient. :)

I do use the Apple mail for my hotmail.

My sister and mom love to use safari, because of all the multi touch features, that's why i need hotmail working.

I really miss the speed and the features of Safari4, i will just wait for the release

You need a paid account at Hotmail, do you not?

EDIT: Nope no need for a paid account.. just set mine up in Mail.app :)

before you needed a paid account, but recently its available to everyone :D

I thought I was the only one experiencing this problem, until I read this thread. I sent a bug report of this to Apple though.

But Hotmail is Microsoft, so....
lol

What would the pop and imap settings be then?

POP server: pop3.live.com
POP SSL required? Yes
User name: Your Windows Live ID, for example yourname@hotmail.com
Password: The password you usually use to sign in to Hotmail or Windows Live
SMTP server: smtp.live.com
Authentication required? Yes (this matches your POP username and password)
TLS/SSL required? Yes

Thanks for the tip! :)
Is there a way of telling Safari preferences to always change the user agent for Hotmail.com/mail.live.com, or do you (as it seems) have to go into the develop menu and change it each time you open a new tab for Hotmail?
