hotmail - password incorrect

i have had my hotmail account hacked, so i changed the password on pc, i get a message on iphone 3gs saying "password incorrect" i have tried old password and new one but the message keeps reappearing and i cannot get rid of this message to use the phone at all. only had phone a few weeks and struggling to find a solution? any ideas welcome? really frustrating.

Try removing and readding the hotmail account.
