Hotmail

I am using OS 10.8.4 and Safari as a browser. I have a Hotmail account but can't get to it. I keep getting the error message " Safari can't find the server "by172w.bay172.mail.live.com".
One piece of advice I got was to delete all cookies. I did that and it didn't solve the problem. Ant other advice?

I tried Firefox and Torch. Bothe have the same problem.

if your trying to get email you could use the mail app

Are you directing the browser to outlook.com?
