I've been trying for aaages to get my free hotmail account to work with the latest version of mail, and it just wont. Ive got a httpmail plugin thing, but the messages still wont work. Has anybody got a free hotmail account working on mail? Its amazing how frustrated its making me, cheers!

Give up. You can't get the Free Hotmail to work on Mail. Don't think you can even get the premium hotmail to work on Mail. Get a Gmail and be happy (or Yahoo).

My friends have it working, and they have the free accounts. As for the macfreepops i didnt get that to work either, which annoys me because everone else seems to have it working but me

I couldn't get various tricks to work and don't really need to access my hotmail anyway. But here's a link to a page that seems to work for others.

Get your friends to help you. Though I really say get rid of Hotmail and get a Gmail.

I have a gmail which i now use for most things, its just that everything im signed up to is done in my hotmail account and so is my msn and it would take too long to make new accounts, transfer contacts etc
