Hello, my un-jailbroken iPhone 3GS only has Bluetooth or USB hotspot capabilities, unlike the iPhone 4 which also has a WiFi option.
When connected to my iPad 2, Bluetooth is the only option to go for, so I was wondering, is the Bluetooth hotspot connection a lot slower than that provided by the iPhone 4's WiFi hotspot connection?

Yes. I get 3-5mbps on 3G. Only 1.3ish tethered via bluetooth.

However! Thats generally fast enough, BT seems to use less batt., and the connection is more persistent, doesn't d/c when locked.
