Since moving from my X to my XS Max when I look for a Wi-Fi network my iPhone is never available as a hotspot on my Macbook. I have to go into settings > hotspot and then search on my macbook and it appears.

With my previous iPhone's the hotspot has always been in the list even when my iPhones screen is locked.

I've checked and both devices are connected to my Apple ID and signed into iCloud and bluetooth and Wi-Fi is enabled always.

Any one have an idea???

Thanks in advance!

I had similar issue, I had to sign out from icloud on my iphone and sign back in...

Sign out of icloud
reboot iphone
sign into icloud

And then I started seeing my iphone hotspot on mac
