Hello All,
I am currently using a Verizon iPhone 5 (factory unlocked) on H2o Wireless (att mvno). The problem I am facing is I can not connect any device to my phone using hotspot. It shows wifi signal but connection fails everytime. I already changed the APN settings and have no problem in sending mms. Just want to know if anyone is able to use personal hotspot on h2o? Also, how about net 10 or straight talk? Do they offer personal hotspot for iPhone?

Contact Verizon.

thats a pretty dumb suggestion, as hes using it on H2O, not verizon.

as stated, i dont think any MVNO allows for hotspot tethering. it has nothing to do with the phone, it all has to do with the carriers provisioning. if they were to allow it, the phone would be configured for it once you put the SIM in and activated the phone on their network. if they said they dont allow it, without a jailbreak, you wont be able to use it.

hey can you please share screen shot of speedtest on H2O? I am thinking of switching to it

Jailbreak and force the hotspot feature to be enabled or use a third party tethering app.

Apple is out to lunch with the hotspot issue. I have an unlocked android on H2O and I can tether all day long. Apple issue all the way.
