Our internet dropped today & I had to hotspots off of my phone. We live in a marginal T Mobile area (low data speeds, but calls work). In trying to get the best signal for working, /I happened to find that laying the phone in the middle of my bed gives me a usable signal (40 MB down, 3 up), not great, but manageable for a day or two.
The interesting thing is that as soon as I plug in my phone, the speeds drop by more than half. If I unplug it, they go right back up. Any insights into why that might be happening and/or any ways to work around it?
