I can't seem to find an hourly chime setting, is this missing or has someone else found a way?

I'm surprised that my $700 watch doesn't have this simple feature like my $25 Iron Man watch had. lol

My pricy Omega Aqua Terra doesn't have it either. :)

But there's no reason not to add it to the Apple Watch. I suspect that Ive & company just didn't think about it if they wear mechanical watches.

I applaud Apple for leaving this "feature" off. It was neat when I was in 3rd grade. Could only imagine the looks people would get during meetings.

At the very least, I think there should be an option for an hourly "tap". Even if the hourly taps are indistinguishable from other notification taps, it would cause you to look at your watch and realize that it is exactly "X-O'clock"

Or how about have an option to turn it on or not

I'll never understand this logic. "Don't need it, so I'm glad others don't have the option to use it!

On Topic: I thought OP was talking about the standing notification at first. It keeps telling me to get up. Wonder if that can be disabled. Let me be lazy, Apple!

I'm sure this was overlooked and it'll be added. They were very forward thinking to allow you to set your watch fast as many people do this and I like my watch a minute fast

you can disable that in the apple watch app under activity settings

Silence your watch and it should only use haptic feedback.

Apple pretty much does a lot of stuff that way. To this day, an iPhone lock screen isn't very customizable. Or in OSX, it's either Aqua Blue or Dark Mode Gray...
