New to mac ..... So far GREAT!!!!!
Is there a software you can recommend that cleans things like orphan files and extensions, cleans caches and generally helps the system to run without clutter;)
Thanks
Ps; It would be nice if it was freeware.....

Thanks Bennieboy

Great little program, but before I use it I will need to set up my external backup drive(yet to be purchased)

From Canada
Thanks again

Backup drive

I always feel better if something goes array to have a backup to reset thing right. I run a new IMac with a 2 TB drive in it and in less than 3 days have transferred more than a 1/3 of a TB to it from other sources.
I have another problem not related to house keeping. It involves a program that seems to have lost the colours (red, yellow and green) on the window controls. When a window is active usually the buttons are these colours but in this case they are all the same A gradient metallic blue(Not greyed out). Is this behaviour normal or are all windows suppose to behave the same?
Thanks

Found my solution. That's the way the interface is built
