Just a guess but I would say 100 or so, drove by about an hour ago. For you, just wait until lunch to pickup, miss the crowds.

That would be good, but my question is why? You know your phone is there, go at lunch when the crowds are gone and you can get your phone in 5 minutes. Why wait in that line?

I shouldn't have to, in store pickup should have a separate line.
No?

Rumors are they will form two lines. one for pre order pick up and another for walk ins

There are two lines, but if you go that early it will be a big line a wait. I would go later, but your call and I could be wrong. I just did it for one of the recent iPads, think Rmini, preorder line was bigger. Do what you want, sorry, just saying your preorder should prevent you from waiting in line depending on when you go.

Who knows. Thats Why I am curious to know about their line in the morning. Both Highland Village and Memorial have pretty long lines already.

I would never do overnight with a pre order if I get there at 7 and the line is too crazy I'll just come back later

I'm confused, why not wait until the line clears?

Because there's a chance the in store pickup line will only be 10-20 people which is not bad and then I don't have to worry about Friday afternoon traffic or mall rush this evening, not to mention Im excited to get a new toy
