The first Mac laptop I used had IO9 I think.. it was a blueberry iBook. as clunky as it was physically, and as greyed-out as the interface is I really loved it.
It somehow, oddly, made me identify with Sandra Bullock in that cheesy scare-your-parents-about-the-internet movie where she's using a laptop and doing utterly implausible research.
I love it because for me, it represent an era of my own computer use and my ideals of what the computer can do, however misplaced those ideals were...
